The Unmarried Partner (de facto) Visa lets non-UK nationals live in the UK with their British or Irish citizen partner or a partner who is settled on the basis of a provably genuine, committed, long-term relationship. Initial permission is usually 33 months, extendable by 30 months; after 5 years on this route you may be eligible for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
